LandSonar traffic business sold to Triangle Software

San Francisco, CA and Campbell, CA – SpeedGauge, Inc. announces the sale of its LandSonar™ traffic business to Triangle Software (d.b.a Beat the Traffic® and BeatTheTraffic.com) a leading provider of traffic reporting solutions for media markets.

SpeedGauge, Inc. (formerly named LandSonar, Inc.) started developing the LandSonar™ traffic solution in 2002 and was the first provider of GPS-probe-based historical/predictive traffic data in the United States.

Triangle Software currently holds several patents for traffic information production, use and integration. LandSonar™ traffic’s intellectual property, including pending patents, will extend Triangle ability to deliver innovative traffic solutions to the market.
