SAN FRANCISCO, CA, November 19, 2007 — SpeedGauge™, a leading supplier of GPS analytics applications and services announced today that the U.S. Patent Office has approved the Company’s patent application for a “System and Method for Evaluating Vehicle and Operator Performance,” covering  SpeedGaugeASP™ fleet safety application and services. Notification of the patent allowance award has been received by the Company; the patent is expected to be issued within 60 days.

SpeedGauge is an innovative vehicle safety application that uses speed and location data collected from GPS-tracked moving vehicles to provide contextual vehicle speeding analysis and reporting. In commercial use since 2004, SpeedGauge has proved to be a popular and useful tool for fleet safety managers and their insurance companies to identify high-risk and manage high-risk driving behavior.
