TIPR – Grant SpeedGauge Access in MyGeotab

Before SpeedGauge can generate a TIPR Report, SpeedGauge must have access to the fleet customer’s MyGeotab database. As a Geotab Reseller, follow the instructions below to create the required SpeedGauge User and grant access. 

• User (Email): geotab@speedgauge.net
• First Name: SpeedGauge
• Last Name: TIPR Integration
• Groups & Data Access: Select “Everything” (do not restrict access by selecting specific groups).
• Force Password Change on Login: Yes (do not set a password manually).
• Authentication Type: Basic Authentication
• Security Clearance: View Only

*Please ensure you click ‘Save‘ to finalize the creation of the user account. 

What Happens Next?

SpeedGauge will be automatically notified once access has been granted. You can then return to the TIPR Order Form and confirm that the required SpeedGauge user has been created. 

SpeedGauge will verify access before processing the TIPR order. If we encounter an issue accessing the fleet customer’s MyGeotab database, we’ll contact the Geotab Reseller contact provided on the order form.
